Aug 3

Correction, my chemo treatment was today not yesterday. Got mixed up between being on vacation and the Ontario holiday on Monday.

Everything went well. Based on lack of symptoms they added Avastin to the bi-weekly treatments. Two more treatments until the next catscan and reassessment of my progress.

I'm still feeling very energetic from the steroids that are part of the chemo treatment. Putting this to good use doing the laundry from our vacation.

Thanks again for all your support. Your emails and comments are appreciated.

Glad to hear that you guys had a great time at the reunion and that you are not experiencing serious side-effects from the chemo. Hope your 2nd treatment went as well as the first. For constipation and lack of constipation, you might want to try some pumpkin puree. In my research on dog treats, I have found that pumpkin is great for treating dogs with either constipation or loose stools (apparently works for both symptoms which is interesting). I'm guessing this therapeutic effect could also apply for humans. Regardless, pumpkin is a great source of Vitamin A and anti-oxidant carotenes. I'll take any excuse for eating Pumpkin Pie! Have a good weekend.
